Developed by SMW Autoblok Tobler, which has designed and manufactured custom mandrels, collets, and tooling for O.D. and I.D. turning applications over decades, the TMS-2G Quick-Change Chuck system allows for rapid spindle changes that can be executed in under one minute, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
While operating any CNC turning center and utilizing various clamping devices, chucks, mandrels, collet chucks, etc., the TMS-2G system is compatible with all automatic and manual clamping systems, allowing the operator to change the chuck in minutes accurately and securely, making it versatile for diverse metalworking requirements.
Quick mounting and repositioning is easy thanks to the internal slide mechanism and quick plate locking features that ensure the highest repeatability and changeover accuracy of less than 7μ. The TMS-2G Quick Change system also protects against contaminants, ensuring the parts remain precise with repeatable accuracy.
