GROB Systems, developer of manufacturing systems and machine tools, will be highlighting a range of solutions for the design, manufacture, and assembly of battery storage systems at Battery Show South, Booth #734, Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA from April 16 to 17. From battery assembly to battery module assembly, to battery pack assembly, GROB works closely with its e-mobility customers to provide innovative systems for sustainable volume production.

Prioritizing cycle time, value, and output requirements, GROB’s emphasis at the show will be to highlight its fully automated and highly flexible battery manufacturing and assembly solution for the production of battery modules. GROB will also have examples of key electric vehicle (EV) parts made on GROB equipment such as stators, hairpin samples, prismatic and pouch cells for batteries, and videos featuring GROB technology/capabilities. Experts will be on hand to discuss attendee manufacturing needs and applications.

With a company history of approximately 100 years as a knowledgeable tier 1 supplier and manufacturing systems supplier for the automotive industry, GROB has also established years of EV manufacturing technology development including for electric motor, battery, and fuel cell production. GROB offers an integrated concept for EV batteries and components through modular, flexible, and scalable electric powertrain manufacturing and assembly solutions.

GROB Systems’ battery line solution includes stacking prismatic and pouch cells according to different size battery modules, geometrically adjusting the cells and linking them with one another via cell contacting systems. To ensure the highest product quality, testing occurs throughout the line, from start to finish.

GROB’s advanced EV manufacturing technology/capabilities also include automated machines and turnkey systems for the large-scale manufacturing and assembly of stators and rotors for customers in the automotive industry. In addition, GROB Systems’ concepts for energy storage systems support the automated production and assembly of battery cells, modules, and packs, and fuel cells. These comprehensive end-to-end solutions enable GROB to handle large orders and offer customers automated machines, manufacturing lines, and systems for full scale electric vehicle production.
