Anomet Clad Metal Products can combine up to three layers of materials to provide specific properties such as high conductivity, optimum corrosion resistance, and superior performance in extreme temperatures. Featuring metallurgical bonds stronger than the weaker material, they can be supplied as wire, ribbon, and rod for designing EV battery busbars and connectors.
Custom manufactured, Anomet Clad Metal Products incorporate 2% or more cladding thickness and wire and rod are offered in sizes from 0.004” to 2” O.D. and the ribbon 1” wide. Typical fuel cells include copper, aluminum, and silver cores and inconel, Kovar, nickel-iron, niobium, Nitinol, molybdenum, stainless steel, tantalum, and titanium external layers.
