ProShop ERP, a leading software solution for precision manufacturing companies, announced an investment from Mainsail Partners, a growth equity firm that invests in fast-growing, founder-led, vertical enterprise resource planning (ERP) software companies. The company intends to use the capital to expedite product development and to continue to build upon the market-leading services and support provided to its customers.
“As a customer-focused organization, we are deeply committed to the success of our clients and our industry. We believe this partnership with Mainsail will enable us to do an even better job of serving more companies with our market-leading products and service,” says Kelsey Heikoop, Co-Founder and CEO. “This work is very meaningful to our clients and team, so we couldn’t be more excited to take ProShop to the next level by partnering with Mainsail.”
“We at ProShop have had an amazing ride the past seven years as a founder-financed company. The market demand has been, and continues to be, strong for our product. We knew that if we wanted to serve our mission even better and serve more shops in the industry we love so much, we needed a partner,” says Paul Van Metre, ProShop Co-Founder. “After many months of careful research and vetting, we decided that Mainsail was perfectly aligned with our mission to serve manufacturing companies and their communities by striving to build the leading product in our industry. My partners and I are deeply committed to serving our industry for years to come, and with the financial and operational backing of Mainsail as our partner, we’re doubling down on our commitment to this industry.”
ProShop ERP provides software to manufacturers in regulated industries such as the defense, aerospace, medical and space industries. Customers use Proshop with the goal of improving their everyday operations, streamlining processes such as on-time delivery, shop throughput, quoting, set-up times, their ISO and AS9100 certifications, and more within an ITAR - and CMMC-compliant cloud environment. These are just some of the solutions that support clients’ goals to move away from paper-based workflows and into a paperless environment.
The company's robust platform, combined with established customer support, makes ProShop attractive for small to-medium sized manufacturers looking to streamline their operations.
“We have known the ProShop team for a long time and have always been impressed with their relentless focus on the needs of their customers,” says Jason Frankel, Partner at Mainsail Partners. “We are excited to partner with a company that is committed to making business management more efficient so manufacturing shop owners can focus on the most important aspect of their business – delivering high quality manufacturing services to the customers who depend on their products.”
Anthony Hayes, a Vice President at Mainsail, along with Jason Frankel, a Partner at Mainsail, will be welcomed as new members of the ProShop Board of Directors. Their extensive experience will be pertinent going forward.
