REcreate software enables easier, faster reverse engineering of parts, from metrology scan to manufacturable model. Reverse engineering can require complex digital workflows to account for incompatible data types and technologies, impeding productivity and possibly introducing errors. REcreate streamlines workflows so engineers and operators can routinely achieve high quality, manufacturing-ready results.
The software provides a single working environment from scan to manufacturable computer aided design (CAD) model. Point cloud data can be used to create manufacturable CAD models or 2D engineering drawings. Analysis tools can validate 3D models to ensure manufacturability before exporting as CAD for computer aided manufacturing (CAM) or standard tessellation language (STL) for additive manufacturing (AM) processes.

Designed to be interoperable and slot into a customer’s existing processes, the solution allows portable arm inspection users to reduce training needs by allowing any operator to read inspection data directly from the device.

Robotic tool changer

The QC-7 robotic tool changer is lightweight yet durable, offering a variety of configuration options with pass-through utility modules and tool-stand systems. An optional ML12 electrical module attaches easily to the QC-7 body, which also includes five pass-through air ports and lock/unlock air fittings.
It features a low stack height, mounts directly to ISO 9409-1-31.5-4-M5 robot wrists, is compatible with modular tool stands, and has an optional tool storage hook to ease robot programming.
The pneumatically-actuated QC-7 robotic tool changer features no-touch locking technology and a fail-safe locking mechanism for a secure connection between the master and tool. The design integrates lock/unlock sensors without an additional interface plate. The tool changer handles payloads up to 35 lb (16kg) and is compatible with various industrial and collaborative robot (cobot) models.

Robotic welding cells

A recent partnership between two technology providers is making three robotic welding cells available in North America, each with a two-station workpiece positioner
Micro Cell – Features 55" overall clamping length, 280 lb nominal load capacity per side for a manual rotating workpiece positioner; 400A welding power supply
Compact Cell – Features 61" overall clamping length, 562 lb nominal load capacity per side for the automatic rotating workpiece positioner; 450A welding power supply
Compact System – Features 138" overall clamping length, 2,248 lb nominal load capacity per side for the automatic rotating workpiece positioner; 450A welding power supply.
All cell models maintain an integrated safety system including nozzle search and anti-collision sensors, interlocked doors, safety enclosures with operator windows, and when required, safety fencing and light curtain barriers. The Compact Cell and Compact System models include automatic seam tracking for maintaining weld seam centering and integrity. Integrated forklift pockets for the Micro Cell and Compact Cell enable quick installation into a production environment.
